ImageTrans respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the ImageTrans browser extension handles your data.

Images

The Extension only processes images that you explicitly choose to translate.

When you start a translation, the selected image is uploaded to the translation server configured by you. The server processes the image and returns the translation result.

The Extension does not upload any images without your action.

No Collection of Personal Information

The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Browsing history
  • Personally identifiable information
  • Passwords
  • Payment information
  • Emails
  • Contacts
  • Location data

Data Storage

Images may be temporarily stored on the translation server solely for the purpose of processing your translation request. They are deleted after processing has been completed.

Data Sharing

Images are transmitted only to the translation server used to perform the requested translation.

Depending on your configuration, this may be:

  • The official ImageTrans server
  • A self-hosted ImageTrans server operated by you

When using a self-hosted ImageTrans server, the handling and retention of uploaded images are determined by the server operator.

The Extension does not sell or share user data with advertisers or other third parties.
